"Mogura" is an imo shochu carefully and thoroughly prepared by Satsuma Muso in Kagoshima Prefecture using white koji. It generously uses plump Koganesengan sweet potatoes, maximizing the inherent umami of the芋. It boasts a mellow and easy-to-drink flavor, while still delivering the distinctive impact characteristic of imo shochu.
Recommended Ways to Enjoy
Enjoy it on the rocks, with water, or with hot water, however you prefer. You'll truly savor the umami of the sweet potato.
