A Fourth Growth from the Médoc classification. This château was managed by the late Patrick Maroteaux, who was also the president of Bordeaux's "Union des Grands Crus" and sadly passed away in 2017.
Located opposite Château Beychevelle, it produces wines with a distinct personality. Thanks to Maroteaux's energetic efforts, the château has such potential that Robert Parker commented, "In its best vintages, Branaire-Ducru is comparable to a Third Growth."
It is characterized by a strong, unique, aromatic chocolate flavor within a robust body, and is often favored for blind tasting exercises.
The 2016 vintage received 92-94 points from Robert Parker. This is a top-tier Bordeaux wine, perfect to open for a special celebration.

Products will be shipped in recycled cardboard boxes. The recycled cardboard used will be the same boxes that were used to deliver sake from the brewery to us. Therefore, the brand name stated on the box may differ from the brand name of the product you ordered.

About shipping method
During winter (generally November to March), products will be shipped at room temperature.
During summer (generally April to October), we recommend refrigerated shipping (for an additional fee) to maintain quality.
Even during winter, if you wish to use refrigerated shipping, please select it on the cart page after adding the item to your cart.
If the orderer and the recipient are the same, a purchase statement will be included in the package.
If the orderer and the recipient are different, please be assured that a purchase statement will not be included in the package.
