Released as the first single malt from the emerging InchDairnie Distillery in Fife, Scotland, "Kinglassie Double Matured 8 Year Old" is a masterpiece blending tradition and innovation.

This whisky uses 50ppm peated malt as its base and undergoes a two-stage maturation process: first, for 5 years in bourbon casks, followed by 3 years in Amontillado sherry casks. This "double matured" method perfectly balances a rich smokiness with the complex and profound flavors derived from sherry. On the palate, a savory aroma reminiscent of tobacco and bonfires unfolds, with notes of almond and roasted nuts smoothly emerging towards the finish.

With an alcohol content of 46.3%, it is designed to be slightly higher, allowing for a substantial body and well-defined flavors.
