From the Whisky Museum Series, a 100ml bottle of Caol Ila 12 Year Old, an authentic single malt crafted by the Caol Ila Distillery located on Scotland's Isle of Islay. The distillery's name means "Sound of Islay" in Gaelic, and it uses a unique method of utilizing seawater for cooling. It has a pale straw color with a distinct peat aroma and sweet maltiness. The flavor harmonizes fruity notes of banana, vanilla, and cotton candy with the briny taste of rock salt and charcoal. It boasts a deep flavor with a long-lasting dry, briny, and sweet finish, enjoyable neat or on the rocks.
