"Diplomático Mantuano" is a premium rum from Venezuela produced at the venerable Unidas Distillery, established in 1959. It is characterized by its smooth texture and rich sweetness, and provides a supremely relaxing experience in a wide range of settings, from authentic long cocktails to casual at-home cocktails.

Key Features

While typical Spanish-style rums use only molasses and are distilled in column stills, Diplomático adheres to its own unique production method. In addition to molasses, it luxuriously uses "sugarcane honey," which is concentrated sugarcane juice, as a raw material. Furthermore, in addition to column stills, it employs three different types of stills: the rare "batch kettle" used for Canadian whisky, and the "pot still" derived from Scotch whisky. This product was born by blending "light/semi-heavy (60%)" and "heavy (40%)" rums, aged for up to 8 years in oak barrels after being produced from each still, in an exquisite ratio.
