This is a representative single vineyard series from Grand Polaire, made with 100% Syrah grapes grown in our own "Azumino Ikeda Vineyard" in Ikeda Town, Nagano Prefecture. The cool climate and sloped vineyards cultivate concentrated fruit flavors and a well-structured taste.
Deep Flavor from Barrel Aging
The harvested Syrah is carefully brewed and then aged in barrels. This full-bodied red wine boasts rich aromas of cassis and blackberry, with spicy nuances.
Recommended Scenes
It pairs exceptionally well with richly flavored meat dishes such as beef stew and sukiyaki. Enjoying it at a slightly warmer temperature of 16-18°C will allow its aroma to expand even more richly.
