KAHIDEN GOLD 720ml Bottle | Barley Shochu Iki-no-Hana, Nagasaki Prefecture
This barley shochu is carefully aged for about 8 years in selected North American white oak barrels, while preserving Iki's traditional production method of two parts barley to one part rice koji. The golden color derived from the barrel and the vanilla-like aroma are harmonized with a mellow and deep sweetness, resulting in a robust 28% alcohol content that is neither too light nor too heavy.
Recommended Ways to Enjoy
Sip it slowly on the rocks. When mixed with soda, the aroma unique to barrel aging is enhanced.
