Laurent Ponsot, hailed as a genius in Burgundy, spent 36 years at Domaine Ponsot, a top domaine in Morey-Saint-Denis. In 2017, he left the domaine and established his own négociant house, "Laurent Ponsot," bearing his own name.
Many of Laurent Ponsot's wines are made from grapes or grape must received from the same vines that supplied Domaine Ponsot. Ponsot's philosophy, dedicated to high-quality grapes, is consistently applied, as he never purchases finished wine or wine bottled just before bottling.
Pairing & Serving Advice
The ideal serving temperature is around 16-18°C. A light decantation will help the aromas open up.
Recommended pairings include roasted duck, light game stews, roast beef, and aged hard cheeses, making it an excellent match for red meat dishes and umami-rich cheeses.

During summer (generally April to October), to maintain quality, we recommend refrigerated delivery (for an additional fee).
