Aroma and Flavor

Aged for 4-5 years. Hand-picked first-fill bourbon casks are blended with sherry cask whisky as the key malt. It features a sweet aroma reminiscent of vanilla and honey, and a gorgeous flavor derived from the sherry casks. The fruity and smooth palate leads to a rich layering of flavors and a pleasant finish​ ​.

About Yusa Distillery

Yusa Distillery is located in Yuza Town, Yamagata Prefecture, and is the third whisky distillery established in the Tohoku region. It uses highly transparent air and subsoil water from the magnificent Mt. Chokai. Though small-scale, it is dedicated to producing the highest quality whisky, incorporating traditional Scottish methods. Yusa Distillery aims to create a unique whisky with the concepts of "Tiny," "Lovely," "Authentic," and "Supreme"​ .
