Ardmore Distillery was founded in 1898 by Adam Teacher, son of William Teacher, to ensure a stable supply of raw spirit for their blended whisky, "Teacher's." It is located in the Highland region of Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The balance created by two spirits: peated and unpeated
"Ardmore Legacy" is the distillery's standard expression, a blend of peated and unpeated spirits. It is characterized by a light, smoky aroma rather than a strong, iodine-like peatiness. It's an easy-to-drink single malt, with spicy notes harmonizing with a gently sweet finish.

With its gentle peatiness, it's approachable even for those trying smoky whiskies for the first time, making it a popular choice as an introduction to single malts.
