The Famous Grouse is one of the most beloved blended Scotch whiskies in the UK. Among its lineup, "Smoky Black" is a whisky that truly brings its smoky character to the forefront.
The Depth Created by Rare Peated Malt
This whisky partly uses rare peated malt from Glenturret Distillery, known as Scotland's oldest continuously operating distillery. Combined with the smokiness derived from Islay malts, it results in a sweet and smoky aroma with a hint of saltiness on the palate.
A Complex Finish Reminiscent of Anise and Clove
With its dark amber color, layers of dried fruit and spice aromas, and a long-lasting sweet and smoky finish, this whisky can be enjoyed neat, or easily as a highball or on the rocks.
