スペイサイド地方の名門グレンファークラスが、樽出しのまま加水せずに瓶詰めするカスクストレングス製法をいち早く採用したパイオニア的存在です。オロロソシェリー樽で熟成された原酒由来の、ドライフルーツを思わせる濃厚な甘みとスパイシーな香りが特徴で、60度という高いアルコール度数にもかかわらず、驚くほど滑らかな飲み口に仕上がっています。
おすすめの楽しみ方
まずは少量を、常温の水を加えたトワイスアップで。度数の高さが和らぎ、シェリー樽由来の甘い香りがより一層引き立ちます。ロックや水割りでゆっくりと楽しむのもおすすめです。
