Sake from this season has a pleasant bitterness and a certain wildness, leaving a clean and light impression. The fresh aroma of rice and a refreshing fragrance are prominent.

It can also have a slight effervescence, offering a refreshing acidity. It is often served as "Namazake" (unpasteurized sake) or "Genshu" (undiluted sake) which have higher alcohol content, allowing you to fully enjoy the fresh flavor unique to new sake.
