I was really into highballs for a long time 😄
The whisky was Dewar's 1750ml. It's a classic Scotch that even bartenders often use for highballs. ※Please also check out our article comparing highballs.

It was highly rated internally and I was completely hooked. `
And this large capacity Dewar's, when I looked it up before, it was one of the cheapest in Japan! I think it was around 2,400 yen including tax.

Now, about how to drink it: an ice-free highball made by chilling whisky in the freezer until it's super cold.
I'm just imitating the method for delicious highballs shared by a famous Japanese bartender.
It's so good!!! The whisky doesn't freeze, it just becomes thick and syrupy. Then you just add well-chilled soda. No hassle with ice, and it doesn't get watered down as the ice melts.
Above all, it's delicious💓
So, I've been drinking highballs for a long time, but lately, I've gotten a bit tired of them.
What should I have next? For the past week, I've been enjoying Suntory Old with water, and a delicious soda-split of "Sui" gin, made with Japanese citrus, after chilling it in the freezer 💓
So here's a photo of the Sui display, lol.
I think Sui isn't sold on our online store, so this isn't an advertisement or anything, lol.
I wish they'd release Sui in a 1.8L plastic bottle, but when I asked the manufacturer, they said there were no plans for that this year. 😅
It's quite a hassle to throw away glass bottles, isn't it? It makes it obvious to the neighbors how much you're drinking, lol.
So, let's have a cheerful day today too 💓
