Brut Nature is still not very well-known in Japan.
In the usual method, a sweet wine (liqueur de dosage) is added at the end to adjust the sweetness, which plays a role in determining the taste of champagne.
However, this Nature method doesn't do that at all.
Therefore, the true nature of the grapes comes through, so producers are forced to use good grapes. (I'm not sure if that's the right expression, lol)
In other words, it's often described as "naturally beautiful" or "beautiful without makeup."
I bought some today and will drink it for the first time in a while.
Good job today, everyone! 💓
Update: I opened it yesterday! It has that refreshing crispness characteristic of Nature wines, and a sophisticated bitterness in the finish.
I couldn't stop drinking it, lol. I almost finished the whole bottle by myself, so I stopped!
This is really, really cheap! All our staff bought it, lol.
You can find that sparkling wine here.
