青いラベルのシメイ ブルーは、濃厚で奥深い味わいのトラピストビール。じっくり向き合いたい夜にぴったりの一本です。
果実の香りとチョコレートのような深いコク
シメイ公式サイトによると、温かみのある深い色合いと、きめ細かな淡い茶色の泡が特徴。豊かな果実の香りとチョコレートのような風味が見事に調和し、軽い甘みからクリーミーなキャラメル、やわらかなモカ、スパイスへと移り変わって、砂糖漬けの果実のような余韻へと続きます。1948年に始まった新しい酵母の試験から生まれ、1954年にクリスマスビールとして登場、1956年から通年販売の「ブルーキャップ」として定番になった歴史を持ちます。
おすすめの楽しみ方
10〜12℃前後で、ゆっくりと温度の変化とともに香りの広がりを楽しむのがおすすめ。ブルーチーズや熟成チーズ、ビーフシチューなどの煮込み料理、ビターチョコレートなどのデザートとも好相性です。食後に一本をじっくり味わう贅沢な時間にどうぞ。
