月桂冠の「上撰」は、かつて日本酒に級別があった時代の「一級酒」にあたる、月桂冠のスタンダード。その上撰をパックに詰めた「上撰さけパック」は1980年から販売されている、長く親しまれている商品です。こちらは2Lパック。
四段仕込みが生む、自然な香りとまろやかなうまみ
酒造りに適した原料米をていねいに磨き、じっくり醸した自然な香りとまろやかな旨味が特徴。月桂冠オリジナル酵母と協会酵母を使い分け、有機酸のバランスを整えています。発酵末期のもろみにもう一度米を加える「四段仕込み」は、米本来の旨味を生かす伏見伝統の技術です。
アルコール分は15度台。甘・酸・辛・苦・渋の五味のバランスと味の深みを追求した、飲み飽きしない普段の一杯です。
おすすめの楽しみ方
蔵元が特にすすめるのは、冷やして（5〜10℃）、ぬる燗（40〜45℃）、上燗（45〜50℃）。湯豆腐やおでんには燗で、お刺身や冷奴には冷やして、と季節や料理に合わせて温度を変えてみてください。
