We are pleased to offer Kirishima Shuzo's signature brand, Shirakirishima, in a convenient 720 ml size that's perfect for everyday evening drinks. It is the successor to the long-selling Kirishima brand, registered in 1933, and was officially renamed Shirakirishima when it was renewed in 2015.
About the Product
This authentic sweet potato shochu is made with Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes grown on the shirasu plateau of southern Kyushu, crisp groundwater from the Kirishima mountain range known as Kirishima Rekkasu, and white koji. The distinctive Heisei Miyazaki yeast, developed independently by the Miyazaki Prefectural Food Development Center, creates a substantial richness and gentle sweetness.
Recommended Ways to Enjoy
Enjoy it refreshingly with water or on the rocks. It also pairs wonderfully with rich dishes such as gyoza and karaage.
