オーヘントッシャン蒸溜所は、スコットランド・グラスゴー近郊のローランド地方に位置する数少ない稼働蒸溜所のひとつ。スコッチウイスキーでは珍しい「三回蒸溜」を全量に採用していることで知られています。
三回蒸溜が生む、軽やかでなめらかな味わい
「12年」は、バーボン樽とオロロソシェリー樽で熟成させた原酒をヴァッティングした一本。三回蒸溜ならではのクリーンでライトな酒質に、シェリー樽由来のほのかな甘みが重なり、なめらかで飲みやすい味わいに仕上がっています。
ウイスキー初心者にもおすすめ
スモーキーさが控えめで軽快な口当たりのため、シングルモルト入門としても親しみやすい一本です。
