Auchentoshan 12 Year Old 700ml | Single Malt Scotch Whisky United Kingdom
A rare distillery remaining in the Lowlands
Auchentoshan Distillery is one of the few operating distilleries in the Lowlands, near Glasgow, Scotland. It is known for using the rare Scotch whisky practice of triple distillation for its entire production.
A light, smooth flavor created by triple distillation
The “12 Years” is a blend of spirits matured in bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks. Its clean, light character, created through triple distillation, is complemented by a subtle sweetness from the sherry casks, resulting in a smooth and easy-drinking flavor.
Recommended for whisky beginners
With its restrained smokiness and light, lively mouthfeel, this is an approachable introduction to single malt whisky.
Recommended ways to enjoy
Enjoy its clean, smooth mouthfeel, characteristic of triple distillation, neat or on the rocks. It also offers a light, refreshing taste when mixed into a highball.
