The 2016 vintage of Corton Grand Cru Les Renardes, crafted by Domaine Parant, a prestigious estate in Pommard, Burgundy. This Grand Cru, one of the Côte de Beaune's leading wines, was created by sisters Anne Parant and Catherine Fage=Parant, who carry on the tradition of a family lineage dating back to the 17th century.
Description
Made exclusively from Pinot Noir harvested in Les Renardes, one of Corton's most renowned vineyards. Half of the grapes undergo whole-cluster fermentation, and the wine is aged in French oak with 80% new barrels. It is characterized by complex, concentrated aromas reminiscent of dark fruits and mushrooms. On the palate, it combines power and delicacy, with fine, elegant tannins that linger on the finish.
