Seikyo Josen 1800ml | Sake Hiroshima Prefecture Nakao Brewing
Nakao Brewery has continued producing Josen as a core label of the Seikyo brand. This 1.8-liter bottle is made not for special occasions, but to quietly complement the everyday dining table.
Product description
The name Seikyo was chosen from the wish to liken the appearance of sake poured into a cup to a mirror and reflect the brewers' sincere spirit. As its name suggests, Josen is a label made with everyday enjoyment in mind above all others in the Seikyo range, with careful attention paid to balancing its mellow mouthfeel and moderate umami. It offers an unpretentious, reassuring taste nurtured by Takehara's water and brewing expertise.
Recommended ways to enjoy
Warming it brings out the rice's sweetness, making it perfect for an evening drink in winter. In summer, we also recommend enjoying it chilled on the rocks. It pairs easily not only with all kinds of Japanese cuisine but also with Hiroshima's local specialties, thanks to its wonderfully versatile character.
