Wolfburn Batch 204 700ml | Single Malt Scotch Whisky United Kingdom

Highland Whisky Revived at the Northernmost Tip of Mainland Scotland, Captivating Malt Fans Around the World

Wolfburn Distillery was revived in 2013 in the town of Thurso, at the northernmost tip of mainland Scotland.
Honoring the traditional hands-on methods and heritage passed down from previous generations, the craftsmen uphold their commitment to “doing as much as possible by hand,” just as all distilleries once did.
That dedication has made Wolfburn whisky a favorite among malt fans around the world.

For Batch 204, the whisky was first matured for five years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, then finished for six months in first-fill Madeira hogsheads.
The result is a richly colored whisky with extraordinary depth of flavor.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of bourbon and Madeira unfold, followed by malt, the sweetness of caramelized sugar, vanilla, hazelnut, and citrus notes of orange. Pleasant honey and butterscotch linger on the finish. A marriage of first-fill bourbon and Madeira. This is a masterpiece worthy of the Small Batch Series.
