Bottega Alexander Exquisite is a barrel-aged grappa from Veneto, Italy, made from the pomace of the Glera grape, which is used to produce Prosecco. Combining tradition with modern distillation techniques, it boasts a soft and refined flavor.
Careful Distillation and 12 Months of Barrel Aging
Fresh Glera pomace is distilled in three stages at varying temperatures in a copper still. Vacuum distillation and bain-marie heating preserve the original aromas of the raw material, after which it is aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
Aroma and Taste
Pale golden color. The aromas derived from the raw material are harmoniously balanced with notes of dried fruit, vanilla, and spices from the barrel aging. The palate is soft, with a lingering aromatic finish.

As an After-Dinner Drink or with Dessert
Enjoy it slowly after a meal, or use it in cocktails and long drinks. The producer also suggests pairing it with dark chocolate, cacao-based sweets, and baked goods like almonds and pistachios.
