The key to Suntory Umeshu's flavor is the umeshu carefully aged in barrels at Yamazaki Distillery,
the birthplace of Japanese whisky. By aging it in old barrels imbued with whisky,
it acquires a pleasant barrel aroma derived from the barrel and a brilliant, deep flavor unique to roasted barrels.
This is a testament to Suntory's inherited Western liquor-making techniques and blending expertise.

This authentic umeshu, unique to Suntory, is made by blending umeshu carefully aged in whisky barrels with grain whisky
post-matured in umeshu barrels.
It features a fragrant aroma reminiscent of vanilla derived from the barrel, and a brilliant, profound flavor.
To fully enjoy its deep flavor and soft, lingering finish,
we recommend drinking it on the rocks or straight.
