Description
Omachi rice is also known as the “mother of sake rice” and is the ancestral variety of many celebrated sake varieties, including Yamada Nishiki. Its large grains readily develop a shinpaku, or starchy core, resulting in sake with a robust richness and depth. Seikyo Junmai Omachi makes the most of this rice’s strength while finishing lightly, creating a smooth, easy-drinking flavor that you will never tire of.
