Seikyo Junmai Ginjo Omachi 720ml | Sake Hiroshima Prefecture Nakao Brewing
This junmai ginjo sake is made with Omachi rice from Okayama Prefecture, polished down to 55%, and finished with meticulously crafted koji. Enjoy Omachi's distinctive deep, rich umami in a clean, refined style achieved through ginjo brewing.
Description
Omachi rice is considered a difficult variety to polish, but Nakao Brewery takes the time and care to polish it to ginjo specifications, then ferments it slowly at a low temperature. The result is an elegant yet full-bodied sake, with a harmonious balance of gentle ginjo aromas and the rich, layered umami characteristic of Omachi.
Recommended serving
We recommend serving it slightly chilled with dashi-rich simmered dishes or braised white fish. Its lingering umami further enhances the flavors of the food.
