This whisky is a blend of spirits matured in sherry casks, achieving an exquisite marriage of sweetness and smokiness. Uigeadail, the name of the loch where the water for production is sourced, means "dark and mysterious place" in Gaelic. Winner of the 2009 World Whisky of the Year.
Age: Undisclosed / Strength: 54.2% (non-chill filtered) / Casks: American oak (ex-bourbon) and European oak (ex-Oloroso sherry)
