"Ganbou Tarukichi" is a limited-edition barrel-aged shochu, made by long-term maturing "Ganbou," an authentic rice shochu from Nakao Brewing (Seikyo) in Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, in oak barrels for over three years. With its subtle amber hue, rich aroma, and mellow taste, it is a truly exceptional offering direct from the brewery.
Origin of the Name "Ganbou"
"Ganbou" is a Hiroshima dialect word meaning "mischievous boy." By carefully aging the house-brewed rice shochu in oak barrels, it develops a flavor that combines both mellowness and depth.

It pairs particularly well with ice, water, or hot water, and can also be enjoyed straight for its rich aroma. This is a drink to savor, whether before or after a meal.
