History and Background

Kiccho (Kitchomu) is a barley shochu proudly produced by Nikaido Shuzo, a long-established brewery in Oita Prefecture. Its name comes from "Kiccho-san," a hero from folk tales who lived in Oita Prefecture during the Edo period. Kiccho is loved nationwide and cherished by many shochu fans.

Production Method

Kiccho Hachiro Bin 720ml is carefully crafted using selected two-row barley and Nikaido Shuzo's traditional production methods. Unique Nikaido yeast is used for fermentation, and after distillation, the shochu is matured slowly in ceramic pots. This pot aging gives the shochu a mellow and rich flavor.
