Kiccho is a barley shochu produced by Nikaido Brewery, a long-established brewery in Oita Prefecture. Kiccho is named after "Kiccho-san," the protagonist of a folk tale, and its name is known throughout Japan. Nikaido Brewery is a historic brewery that has continued to offer high-quality shochu by combining tradition and innovation.

Production Method

Kiccho Tsubo 1800ml is carefully fermented and distilled using carefully selected two-row barley as the main ingredient and Nikaido's unique yeast. It is aged in ceramic pots, achieving a deep flavor and rich aroma through long-term maturation. Aging in ceramic pots gives the shochu mellowness and richness, bringing out its unique flavor.
