Sandeman Medium Dry Sherry 750ml | Wine Spain
Founded in 1790, Sandeman is a leading name in sherry and port. Its trademark logo of a "Don" wearing a black cape and hat has long been familiar in the world of fortified wines from Spain and Portugal. Sandeman Medium Dry Sherry is a sherry with a balanced sweetness and rich flavor, shaped by the sun and limestone soils of Jerez in southern Spain.
Product description
Pale-colored wines selected immediately after harvest are carefully aged using a dedicated solera system, a traditional method of gradual maturation. Over time, the wine deepens into a golden hue with amber and copper tones, developing a richer, more complex flavor. A small amount of sweet sherry is blended in at the end, creating a medium-dry character with a restrained sweetness. Made primarily from Palomino Fino with a small amount of Pedro Ximénez, it offers a nutty aroma and a long, pleasant finish.
Recommended ways to enjoy
Serve well chilled at 10-12°C, either straight in a glass or on the rocks with ice. It pairs well with pâté, smoked meat, rich seafood soups, and strongly flavored cheeses. In addition to enjoying it as an aperitif, it is also popular mixed with soda as a light long drink. It keeps relatively well even after opening, making it appealing to savor slowly over time.
