Kou-in is a long-aged imo shochu, proudly presented by Kagoshima's Oguchi Shuzo. This luxurious spirit is made exclusively from unblended shochu prepared with black koji, carefully selected and aged for a remarkable seven years in traditional earthenware pots.
The seven years of aging result in an overwhelmingly rich aroma and a long, lingering sweet potato finish. This is a special flavor that we particularly recommend to those who appreciate the profound depth of imo shochu.
