The distiller, Francisco "Don Pancho" Fernandez, is a world-renowned master blender with numerous awards, who inherited the traditional Cuban rum-making techniques. His supervision has resulted in SelvaRey having a highly refined taste and aroma.
This product blends 3-year-aged rum and 5-year-aged rum, aged in bourbon barrels, and is given a clear finish through activated charcoal filtration.
