Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength 700ml | Single Malt Scotch Whisky United Kingdom
Born in 1968 as the industry's first cask-strength whisky, “Glenfarclas 105” is a signature Glenfarclas product. “105” represents 60% alcohol under the British proof system, making it an iconic flagship product of the distillery.
Product description
Glenfarclas, a prestigious Speyside distillery, was a pioneering early adopter of the cask-strength method, bottling whisky straight from the cask without adding water. Aged in Oloroso sherry casks, it is characterized by the rich sweetness reminiscent of dried fruit and spicy aromas derived from the original spirit. Despite its high alcohol content of 60%, it has an astonishingly smooth finish.
Recommended ways to enjoy
Start with a small amount, enjoyed as a twice-up with room-temperature water. This softens the high alcohol content and further brings out the sweet aromas from the sherry casks. It is also recommended to take your time enjoying it on the rocks or with water.
