The Akkeshi Distillery is equipped with an optimal environment for whisky making: pristine brewing water that passes through a peat layer, and a cool, humid climate suitable for maturation. This product uses malted barley new make distilled in Hokkaido, smoked with Akkeshi peat and matured over time, characterized by its distinctive and rich aroma. New make distilled in a Forsyth pot still from the UK and matured primarily in bourbon, sherry, red wine, and Hokkaido Mizunara casks creates Akkeshi's unique and inimitable flavor.
