Aurelius 2020 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 750ml | Red Wine France
Aurelius is an ambitious cuvée crafted by the Saint-Émilion producers' cooperative to embody the terroir of the entire classified area. Located in the Haut-Gravet area, it is made from grapes selected from approximately 20 vineyards.
Description
A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Made with grapes grown in clay-limestone and sandy soils, this wine reflects the individual character of all eight communes in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. A deep, full-bodied red wine in which concentrated fruit flavors and supple tannins are beautifully balanced.
Recommended serving
Pairs well with slow-cooked meat dishes such as beef braised in red wine and roast duck. After opening, letting it rest for a little while allows its aromas to develop further.
