Barolo Riserva Terre del Barolo 750ml | Red Wine Italy
Terre del Barolo, a cooperative with vineyards in all 11 villages that produce Barolo, makes this Barolo Riserva. This superior cuvée is made by carefully selecting grapes from soils of older geological origin.
Description
Made with 100% Nebbiolo, it is fermented at 28-30°C for 16-20 days, followed by 62 months of extended aging. Of this period, at least 18 months are spent aging in French oak barrels (25-50hL), resulting in a complex, deep flavor. This powerful red wine combines aromas reminiscent of dried fruit, tanned leather, and spices with firm tannins.
Recommended serving
It pairs exceptionally well with beef braised in red wine and aged cheeses. Decanting before drinking will allow the aromas to open up further.
