Château Carbonnieux Blanc 2019 750ml | White Wine France
A white wine produced by Château Carbonnieux, a Grand Cru Classé château in Pessac-Léognan. This is one of the château's signature wines, which has earned high praise for both its red and white wines.
Description
Made from 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Sémillon, the 2019 vintage was fermented in oak using hand-selected grapes, with 25% new oak, then aged for 10 months on the lees. Delicate layers of lemon peel, white pepper, white flowers, mint, and sandstone unfold on the nose, while its light, refreshing palate reveals a taut depth.
Recommended serving suggestions
Pairs well with pan-seared white fish, shellfish dishes with cream sauce, and fresh cheese. As you gradually let it warm slightly while drinking, you can also enjoy the changing aromas.
