シャトー ポタンサック 2020 750ml | 赤ワイン フランス
Located in Bordeaux's Médoc region, Château Potensac is a distinguished estate that was selected for the highest rank, "Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel" (awarded to only nine châteaux at the time), in the 2003 Cru Bourgeois classification. It is managed by the same owner as the prestigious Château Léoville Las Cases.
The 2020 vintage, awarded two stars by Guide Hachette
A blend of 44% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. Fresh Bing cherry, redcurrant, and black raspberry aromas intertwine with complex notes reminiscent of Provençal herbs, earth, mushrooms, and tobacco leaves. Medium-bodied, it is characterized by concentrated red and black fruit flavors and a firm, chewy texture. It received two stars in the 2024 edition of France's Guide Hachette des Vins.
Recommended serving
An affordable bottle with an authentic flavor, it pairs wonderfully with beef and duck dishes, as well as aged cheeses.
