Dom Pérignon is a prestige Champagne produced by Moët & Chandon. Named after the monk Dom Pierre Pérignon, known as the father of Champagne, it is made exclusively from exceptional grapes from a single harvest year and released after more than eight years of aging.
Description
2012 was a difficult year to predict, with a hot summer bringing heavy rainfall and hail, followed by a warm, dry autumn. Ultimately, however, the strength and generosity of the climate produced an exceptionally diverse vintage. The refreshing acidity of Chardonnay and the deep fruitiness of Pinot Noir blend beautifully into a vibrant harmony imbued with precision, power, texture, minerality, complexity, and perfection.
Recommended serving
Chill to 7-9°C and enjoy the aromas slowly in a flute glass. Its versatility makes it an excellent match not only for white fish and shellfish dishes, but also for slightly richer dishes such as roasted chicken.
