This is Sapporo Beer's Grand Polaire series, made with 100% Koshu, a white grape variety indigenous to Japan. It features a pale golden color and an elegant acidity that can only be found in domestically grown grapes.

Koshu is the oldest grape variety cultivated in Japan, primarily in Yamanashi Prefecture but also nationwide. While visually similar to Muscat, its aroma is more subdued, characterized by subtle floral and citrus notes. This wine carefully extracts these delicate aromas, resulting in a crisp, dry finish.
