Portale Rosso is a red wine made in San Severo, the oldest DOP in Italy's Apulia region. Its name comes from “Portale,” meaning “entrance,” referring to the oldest church in San Severo, built in 1059.
About San Severo DOP
This red wine is made from Montepulciano grapes, with a warm, mellow flavor. It features aromas reminiscent of red fruit and soft tannins, offering an approachable, dry taste.
Recommended serving
This wine pairs well with roasted meat and grilled dishes. We recommend enjoying it at around 15-18°C.
