ルーセット・ド・サヴォワ フランジー 750ml | 白ワイン フランス
Roussette de Savoie is an AOC from the Savoie region, stretching across the foothills of the Alps in eastern France. The area around the village of Frangy, located quite close to Lake Geneva, is one of four designated crus and is one of the most highly regarded areas for Savoie white wines.
The character of glacial soils expressed solely through Altesse
Made exclusively from Altesse (Roussette), the only indigenous variety permitted to be grown in this appellation. The distinctive soil, characterized by stony limestone-rich clay spread over glacial marl, nurtures honeyed nuances reminiscent of flowers, gingerbread, and pear. Aromas evoking violets and mountain herbs combine with flavors of minerality, bergamot, honey, and hazelnuts in this richly distinctive, dry white wine that embodies the character of Savoie.
Recommended serving
This wine pairs exceptionally well with Savoie specialties such as raclette and fondue, as well as freshwater fish dishes. Enjoy well chilled.
