Founded in 1989 by cousins Michael Hill Smith MW and Martin Shaw, Shaw + Smith has established a reputation as one of the leading producers in Australia's Adelaide Hills, earning recognition as the benchmark for Sauvignon Blanc from the region.
Refreshing acidity born from the cool climate of the Adelaide Hills
Made primarily with grapes from the estate vineyards in Balhannah and Lenswood, along with grapes from carefully selected partner growers. The grapes are hand-harvested as whole bunches to reduce the risk of oxidation, then destemmed and crushed before the juice is chilled at low temperature and fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperature. This highly accomplished wine has received numerous accolades, including a gold medal at the Adelaide Hills Wine Show.
