Arran Wine Cask is a series of whiskies that are first aged in traditional oak casks and then undergo additional maturation in various empty wine casks.
The Arran Amarone Cask is first aged in traditional oak casks, then undergoes additional maturation in empty casks that previously held Amarone, a dry red wine from Italy. No coloring or chill-filtration is used, and it's bottled at 50% ABV to deliver the full, authentic flavor of the whisky.
