• This is a blended Japanese whisky that uses only malt whisky and grain whisky that are fermented, distilled, and aged in-house (*a product that meets the Japanese whisky labeling standards of the Japan Spirits and Liqueurs Makers Association).

• We focused not only on quality (aroma and taste) but also on affordability, setting the suggested retail price at under 2,000 yen.

• Among blended whiskies, it is characterized by a high malt ratio, offering a powerful yet delicate and fruity aroma. A sweet vanilla-like scent rises, and upon tasting, a chocolate-like sweetness spreads, along with a soft acidity reminiscent of ripe citrus. When made into a highball, the fruity aroma derived from the malt stands out clearly, making it even more drinkable with a refreshing taste.

• By using undiluted whiskies from SAKURAO B&D's two storage facilities (Sakurao Distillery in Sakurao, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and Togouchi Distillery in Togouchi, Akiota-cho, Yamagata-gun, Hiroshima Prefecture), we have created a complex flavor that allows the individuality of each whisky to be felt.

  With the recent whisky boom, the number of distilleries in Japan has exceeded 100, and the increase in Japanese whisky products and distribution volume has expanded customer choices. However, many of the Japanese whisky products distributed domestically are expensive single malt whiskies, and there are few options in the category of affordable blended Japanese whiskies. SAKURAO B&D, one of the few companies that can produce both malt whisky and grain whisky in-house, leveraged this strength to develop the new product "Blended Japanese Whisky SOGAINI" with the desire to offer a Japanese whisky that can be enjoyed casually every day.
