Hamada Shuzo's botanical barley shochu "CHILL GREEN Bitter & Tropical" is brewed in Kagoshima Prefecture. This innovative shochu is crafted using a unique and meticulous process that combines barley and barley koji with the rare "Galaxy Hop."
Sweet and Refreshing Citrus Aroma with a Hint of Bitterness, Reminiscent of Pink Grapefruit
It features a sweet and refreshing citrus aroma, reminiscent of pink grapefruit, derived from the hops, along with the distinctive bitter taste unique to white koji preparation. This shochu breaks away from traditional barley shochu with its light and easy-to-drink finish.
Recommended Ways to Enjoy
The citrus aroma and subtle bitterness are enhanced when mixed with soda or tonic. It is also recommended on the rocks.
