ドン・ペリニヨンは、モエ・エ・シャンドンが手がけるプレステージュ・シャンパーニュ。シャンパーニュの父と呼ばれる修道士ドン・ピエール・ペリニヨンの名を冠し、単一収穫年の優れたぶどうのみを使い、8年以上の熟成を経て世に送り出されます。
内容紹介
2012年は降雨量が多く雹にも見舞われた暑い夏、それに続く暖かく乾燥した秋と、予測の難しい年でしたが、最終的には気候の力強さと寛大さによって、驚くほど多様性に満ちたヴィンテージとなりました。シャルドネの爽やかな酸味とピノ・ノワールの深い果実味が見事に融合し、緻密さ、力強さ、触感、ミネラル感、複雑さと完璧さが宿る、躍動感あふれるハーモニーに仕上がっています。
おすすめの楽しみ方
7〜9度に冷やし、フルート型のグラスで香りをじっくり楽しむのがおすすめです。白身魚や甲殻類の料理はもちろん、鶏肉のローストなどやや重めの料理とも合わせられる懐の深さが魅力です。
