The Origin of the Name "Darhmaj"
This bottle embodies a Gaja family anecdote: when Angelo Gaja planted Cabernet Sauvignon in a highly-rated Nebbiolo vineyard, his father, Giovanni, instinctively exclaimed, "What a waste! (Darhmaj)." The name "Darhmaj" is derived from this very phrase.
